·     Available: 100 bus driver contestants.

·     First paid, first registered. No refunds. 

·     The registration fee is $50 which includes: T-Shirt, Continental breakfast and a Lunch voucher.

 

The events drivers will be judged on include:

·     Right Turn

·     Student Loading

·     Diminishing Clearance

·     Straight Line

·     Railroad Crossing

·     Curb Line

·     Offset Alley

·     Stop Line/Sign

·     Surprise Event

·     Pre-Trip-Find what’s wrong with the bus

·     CDL School Bus Written Test

 

The top three winners of the NJ School Bus Driver Safety Competition have the opportunity to compete in the 2026 School Bus Driver International Safety Competition, to be held in Austin, Texas June 27-28, 2026.

NJSTS/NJSBCA SCHOOL BUS DRIVER SAFETY COMPETITION REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

NJSTS is partnering with NJSBCA to present a Driver Safety ROADEO on May 31, 2025.

Participation is limited to the first 100 registrants.

Event Details:

  • Location: Warren County Technical School and Community College grounds located at 1500 Route 57 Washington, NJ 07882.
  • Registration starts at 8:00AM
  • Competition runs from 9:00AM to 2:30PM
  • Judging starts at 2:30PM
  • Awards Ceremony at 3:00 PM
  • Winners may have the opportunity to compete in the 2025 School Bus Driver International Safety Competition in Austin, Texas on June 28th-29th.
